Direct funding for a friend going to IOWA for the animals.
Craig Hill, a former Winn Dixie / ARNO / Best Friends volunteer, is going off to rescue animals again. After going completely, yes completely broke, (lets not rub in the details), after Katrina he is off to volunteer in Iowa. He is looking for any donations to support his cigarette habit and a rental car. His goal for a rental car is $1500, he has $263 right now. I gave him a little gentle harassing about the cigarettes, but he is right, a disaster is no time to quit. If anyone cares to donate and wants to know where it is going Craig is a good cause who will use every penny toward volunteering - with the exception of the cigarettes. Maybe you smokers out there can just send him a pack when they settle down. Craig will be joining up with Best Friends who is just arriving. Barb Davis, Ethan and Rich are there in Iowa now assessing the situation etc. Craig will be flying out Tuesday, thanks to a friend at NWA for a very inexpensive flight.
I personally vouch for Craig. Please consider donating your morning coffee funds, or the amount of a tank of gas to craigh123@comcast.net. Go to https://www.paypal.com/ and donate to that email address. Or if you are a wealthy individual who wants to sponsor him completely email me griffinsgallery@verizon.net and I will give you his phone number or help you make all the arrangements. Ok, I am dreaming, but who knows? Updates that I hear will appear here on www.dogbusters.blogspot.com
